Ice + Cream + Suger = Ice Cream!
Oh, if only it were that simple.
That’s how it started, but these days there are soft-serve ice creams, scoop ice creams, various colors and flavors of ice cream – and a multitude of other treats that are made with ice cream (floats, milkshakes, sundaies, banana splits, etc.)
Dairy Queen has become famous for specializing in serving some of the best ice cream in the world. Yes, they have hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, and all the rest. But ice cream is what put and keeps them on the map. And thanks to a multitude of coupons available online, in the newspaper, and even in the restuarants themselves, there is no reason to ever pay full price for Dairy Queen ice cream.
Now here’s something you might not know. I just discovered it today. While shopping in my local grocery store, I purchased a gallon of “Blue Bunny” ice cream. Of course, I used a coupon. What I did not realize till later was that the “Blue Bunny” brand is owned by none other than “Dairy Queen.” Tonight, when my children and I enjoy ice cream floats, we’ll be eating the Dairy Queen brand.
So, the next time you have a hunger for ice cream (and you don’t want to go out, even to enjoy Dairy Queen), make sure you have stocked up on “Blue Bunny” and you can enjoy Dairy Queen while watching TV at home. Oh, and make sure you click some coupons to save a few dollars.
